Haunted in Virginia #2: Bacon's Castle

Bacon's Castle, located in Surry County, Virginia, is the home of a lovelorn ghost tied to her home by love of family and duty. Locals frequently see a floating ball of light moving from the house to the graveyard nearby. I've spoken to a witness myself who told me the story of a daughter who fell in love with a visiting gentleman. After spending time together, walking, reading and writing poetry, the young man proposed. The girl's mother was ill and she put the young man off, tending to her mom. After the woman passed away, her father was so distraught, she set aside her own desires to care for her younger siblings and managing the household. Her love went on to marry another but she never wed. It's said it is her restless spirit making the trip to and from the cemetery where she's laid to rest. 
There are also many more reports of noises throughout the house, which I've overheard a paranormal investigator talking about on my last visit there but they haven't been able to capture any unexplained movements on video.
